kf5filemetadata3-dbg software package provides library for extracting file metadata, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kf5filemetadata3-dbg
kf5filemetadata3-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kf5filemetadata3-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kf5filemetadata3-dbg *
You will get with kf5filemetadata3-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
